Trainee Digital Production Assistant - Full Time


Micropress Printers is one of the UK’s largest independently owned Printers based on the Reydon Business Park. The self-contained digital print department is a busy and ever expanding part of the main print business.

This role is predominantly administrative and office based - tasks include processing orders, planning the day to day production schedules and liaising with customers both via email and on the telephone. It also involves dealing with the team of digital printers and print finishers to answer any queries that may arise. The candidate should be polite, enthusiastic, well organised and adaptable.

The digital department often runs to very tight deadlines so it is vital that the candidate can handle the pressures of a print production environment and can manage their work flow effectively.

Full training will be given so previous experience in print is not necessary but administrative experience would be preferable. The role is perfect for someone looking to start a new career in a thriving family owned company with the ability to progress as part of dynamic team.

Full time employment working 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Holidays are 21 days per year plus bank holidays.

Sales Executive


This role is for a growing family owned media house, based in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk coast. We reach more than 1.5 million people a year and interact with our readers more than 3 million times a year through our portfolio of web sites, magazines, newspapers and events.

Selling advertising space throughout their print and digital portfolio
Pitching to clients over the phone, email and face to face

Junior IT Support Analyst

To work in conjunction with the IT manager/IT team to provide IT help desk support (1st/2nd Line), performing daily networking tasks, and to ensure the IT service is consistent and adequately supported.

Training will be given and this is a perfect role for someone looking to start their career in IT.
The position also offers career progression in a rapidly growing business which is becoming more and more reliant on it’s IT systems.

Roles & Responsibilities
To install, maintain and upgrade all IT related equipment across the business
To provide general support and excellent service
Support and train colleagues
Efficiently monitoring, supporting and maintaining a help desk ticketing system.
Set up and remove user accounts from the network, adhering to company governance policies
Maintain asset register and documentation, ensuring all assets are correctly allocated
Monitoring backups
Any other tasks as required

Skills
Working knowledge of Windows OS and Office
Flexible and positive attitude with strong customer focus
Strong interpersonal skills, punctual and self-motivated.

Any experience in the following would be an advantage:
Web development skills (SQL, PHP, LAMP)
iOS and Linux experience
IP Networking and troubleshooting

We require a skilled machine minder to add to the team that run our four Heidelberg presses, ranging from 5 Col B2 to 8 Col B1.
The successful applicant will be a fully experienced print minder, able to produce high quality print and pass their own work.
